Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, a friendly representative from Mrunde African Tours will be waiting to greet you. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi, where you can relax and prepare for your safari adventure.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart from Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife against the stunning backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 3: Full Day Safari in Amboseli
Today offers a full day of safari adventures in Amboseli National Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the park’s diverse habitats and abundant wildlife. Set out on morning and afternoon game drives, with the chance to witness large herds of elephants bathing in the swamps, as well as other iconic species such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Don’t forget to keep your camera ready for incredible photo opportunities against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 4: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli as you drive to Tsavo West National Park, Kenya’s largest national park and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, from volcanic hills and lava flows to natural springs and Mzima Springs, where you can spot hippos and crocodiles from an underwater viewing chamber.
Day 5: Tsavo West to Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Tsavo West National Park, with the chance to spot any wildlife species you may have missed on previous drives. Afterward, bid farewell to Tsavo West as you drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your memorable safari adventure with Mrunde African Tours.
