Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a representative from Mrunde African Tours and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Arusha, often referred to as the safari capital of Tanzania, offers a perfect starting point for your adventure. After checking in at your hotel, take some time to relax and prepare for your safari experience.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

• After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park.
• Enjoy a game drive in the park, known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees.
• Picnic lunch in the park.
• Continue with an afternoon game drive.
• Transfer to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay near Tarangire.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

• After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park.
• Enjoy a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Stop at the Olduvai Gorge for a brief visit to the museum (optional).
• Arrive in the Serengeti and embark on an afternoon game drive.
• Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge/camp in Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

• Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti.
• Explore different areas of the park, including the Seronera Valley, known for its abundance of wildlife.
• Picnic lunch in the park.
• Continue with game drives in the afternoon.
• Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool.
• Explore the diverse habitats of the crater, spotting various wildlife species.
• Ascend from the crater and transfer to your lodge/camp on the crater rim.
• Dinner and overnight stay near Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Lake Manyara

• After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park.
• Enjoy a morning game drive in the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife.
• Picnic lunch in the park.
• Explore the different ecosystems of Lake Manyara, including the alkaline lake, forests, and grassy plains.
• Transfer to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay near Lake Manyara.

Day 7: Lake Manyara to Arusha, Departure

• After breakfast, depart for Arusha.
• Arrive in Arusha and have lunch (optional).
• Visit a local market for some souvenir shopping (optional).
• Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, or extend your stay with optional activities.
